Default ROAR rule question

in the ROAR rulebook it states that "personal transponders must be mounted in a PERMENENT manner". since my transponders do not have mounting holes, do you guys think it would be legal to just use servo tape to hold it down?

Thanks,
Troy

I wouldn't worry about it. Ijust think they don't want it coming off mid race

Use good quality velcro. I've done this for years, never had a failure, and believe me, as hard and as often as I've hit the boards, it would have happend to me by now (everything else has broken or come off )

If you're really concerned, switch to one of the new AMB mini transponders that fit into the little clips. Extra clips are only $5.

They just don't want your transponder starting at the back of your car and ending in the front
