The car comes with 25 deg blocks. Which ones you use really depend on what you like in a car. I have never really cared for 30s, not even in truck where 30s are standard, but thats because I like a ton of on-power steering (and why I cant drive a losi).

Hey guys, I just got a couple of JR 8800s servos for my B4/T4 and was wondering which spacers to run if any on the mounts. The manual doens't state, but the 8550 and 8800 have the same case and for that it says no spacer. When I mount it without the spacer it's just barely touching the wall that separates the servo from the battery (you can almost slide a business card in the space). If I use the small spacer like with the Z590 does, then the space behind the servo looks better, but the steering rack almost touches the servo...everything clears, but it's close. Which way is better?? Spacer or no??? Just want to make sure I have it mounted correctly. Thanks.

I'd go without the spacer.

Absolutely. It's just a personal preferance of which one you like better. Why are you thinking of switching, just for a change?

Hard to say then. If you can get the deal you want on the t4 you won't be at a disadvantage because of it. But if you love losi's it's hard to say if you'll love the AE vehicle. Worst case scenario is you don't like it and sell/trade it for a losi. But at least you will have tried the T4 and can come to your own conclusion on comparisons between the two vehicles.

if 20 is too hot, go down to a 19 and try that.

The 18 will work since you don't have a 19. You will sacrifice a little top speed is all. I'd get a 19 though, as it is the do-all pinion on the T4 most of the time.
Are you racing? New to rc? Do you have access to comm lathe and such? Just asking as if it's been run hot a few times you may want to cut the comm soon.
