Broke down and went into the "inventory room", as the wife calls it, and dug out my new in package Interceptor T4 RTR body to go along with some Losi Step Pins/Pro-Line The Edge that I glued up.

Guys. Here's the grass track 'Chihuahua Express' T4. New body by JConcepts. Paint by RC Bombshells. Have not had the tranny apart since buying the truck used off Ebay. Seems "o.k.". Diff adjusts o.k. Having a top shaft available in AL is a plus worth looking into. Probably break the tranny open for inspection and rebuild during summer 2021 break. Hardest part to find, though, was a set of pin-drive RR wheels. Thanks for the heads-up on the top shaft. Cheers. 'AC'

There is always that one part needed to keep these things running. The top shaft doesn't normally fail before the idler and diff gear, but it does wear down after time. Before I became aware of the Klink "limited run" top shaft, Associated "4" series diehards would have to cough up $$$ for the unicorn-isque part. Either that, or be very persistent/lucky in online dealings.
