have you tried mounting the receiver behind the servo?

Yes, little to narrow to fit..dont want to take off the reinforcment in the chassi, between the battray and servo..
See if this one will work..just fun to do, had nothing to do so gived it a try, il be back about the result.

Is it worth the cost to upgrade to the v2 slipper in the b4? is there that much difference in performance between the two?

well, I just installed the new team associated v2 shocks on my b4.1, built them with the unobtanium shafts. can't wait till tomorrow after work to go practice at the track and see how they hold up.
I just learned that I have Hara's world's b4
It has the purple anodizing stuff on it and everything.

pics please.
Here it is: The motor plate and servo saver piece are clearly hpi purple. The tierods are purple but it is hard to tell in the picture because alot of the anodizing has worn off so it is like a blueish purple. The front arm brace had to be replaced a while ago because it was pretty worn and beaten.

I've been racing my b4.1 for probably 2 or 3 months, i've been on my lid a number of times and I've never broken a shock tower. as far as aftermarket upgrades, i've searched for them for the b4 but had no luck finding any. i know they make alum. shock towers for the sc10, but I'm guessing the sc10 shock tower and the b4 tower are totally different?., I dunno....................................hold the presses, team integy makes an aluminum rear shock tower for the b4 for $29.99 in anodized silver or blue. I hope this helps Monkee
Personally I would stay away from aluminum. Normally it just ends up causing other things to break.
