there isnt a new one and an old one. the new one has nothing different. they havent come with the new shock towers yet...only the new orings, motor guard and steering pieces, no change in handling.

Hey Guys, since the new towers for either are out, I decided to make my own. I devised these templates as a guide, then used an xacto knife to get the center of the hole, then used a drill and bit to finish the hole. The template is made from vinyl so it will stick to the tower till youre done. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to pm me. Check out the pics.

From what I understand the chassis are different in old box and new box... just based on word of mouth this is what i know.

Old Box- Carbon Chassis


New Box-Plastic Chassis



Been the new box for at least a year or 2 now... new box does not mean new shocks

Yeah that's not new. I'd like to see the T5 to come out already. My x60 is ok on high grip but not as near as good as a T4. Low grip for me X60. If they don't come out with one then o well.

Thanks for the info. As for the t5 I know some of you have been racing the t4 for years. But for me the last 2 kits I bought were replace with in months and I only been racing the t4 weeks.

thats the team kit box i think. the one with non ft parts, just a kit, with carbon chassis.
they have ALWAYS been plastic since the 03 worlds. look back a few pages, we discussed this for many pages.

ive called them lately. the kits being shipped to hobby shops contain the plastic chassis like they have been, the sc10 steering knuckles, the sc10 motor mount, the shock towers are yet to get around, the new o rings, and the shock bodies with the ring at the bottom, and no they arent different just because they have the ring at the bottom. it is just a identification to ae what kits they have been getting out. the sc10 parts are just on there because they got rid of the old b4/t4 molds and using sc10 ones. the part numbers are the same.
