add a shim in between the QC and the outer bearing. This will take care of allmost all of the slop

Default another gearing question...

i know this question has probably been beat to death, but i am wondering where i should start my gearing for a b4 with tekin rs esc and epic duo 2 17.5 motor running on a medium size indoor clay track. i'm also wondering where a good place to start is with boost and throttle profile with this set up. all help appreciated.

What software r u running. If it is 203 then go 81/22 and set motor can timing at 0degrees and set the esc to 45 degree timig with 5 boost. End rmp at 12000 rpm and start at 4000 rpm. Set timing ramp at 2. This works good for me.

aerayls asked a few questions a couple pages back about new parts in the B4...I received a B4 from AE today and it was on backorder for about a week, anyway, it has the new steering assembly, new spindle arms, new motor guard, new shock bodies and new shock inner plastic but does not contain the new towers or new chassis. I also ordered a spare front tower and it is the newer one. The newer front tower doesnt have the webbing on the back that interferes with the shock when using the inner hole.

There is a new rear tower, just not in kits yet. It doesn't have four holes, just all the holes moved in one hole...if that makes sense?

Awesome, so its like if the 4th hole was there and the 1st hole cut off (no one uses it anyway right?). sweet.

This is good news for those who are considering buying a new kit in their near future. I have heard about all the parts you mentioned except for the steering assembly. What has changed with them?
Thanks
