My buddy and I were racing our trucks when I noticed that his rc10t4 is
MUCH quiter than my MF2...Is this due to design or is something in my tranny going on that isn't suppose to? Keep in mind BOTH trucks are BRAND new, same motor and funny enough built by myself...Can anyone out there help?

Where can I get some nice, better than stock spring retainers. I have a T3 but figured you guys would know.

The only way to really upgrade the spring retainers is to upgrade to threaded shock bodies. It might be worth doing when your stock bodies wear out but it's pricey just for the spring retainer upgrade alone.

Does anyone have any experience with the Panther molded foams for the 1/10th scale trucks? I was considering getting a set, but if they suck I would rather spend my 16 bucks on a set of tires, or something else.

when i was at the socal JBRL bill koch was there, the owner or panther(i believe), and he said not to run them as they were too stiff.

I tried them too, and they suck. They are too stiff and too round. Trinity gray and blue are much better.

Also, what rack type do you run on? I run almost exclusively dirt tracks, that are become dust after a few heats? I am sure that if you are running blue groove or hard clay tracks it might make a difference as to the application here. Both of the tracks I run on get fairly bumpy as well, especially the one about 12-20 feet above the Snake River.
