If you are running stock and your track allows BL motos in stock, the ONLY motor that would be allowed would be the Novak 4300 (10.5)...

Most tracks dont allow BL motors in "stock motor" classes, because the slowest BL motor is the Novak 4300 and even then its more like a 19T. BL motors have much more torque...

The Novak 5800 (8.5) is more equivalent to a 12-15T (depending on who you talk to). The slowest Neo motor, the star 1 is also about equivalent to a 13T or so...

Therefore the only motor I'd get is the 4300 (10.5) by Novak. And for an ESC, if your track requires them to be rev limited to 24,000 RPM, then the Novak SS or LRP sphere would be the way to go... The GTB doesnt have a rev limiter...

By the way if any of you guys run on a rough track, make sure to give RPM
s two stage pistons a try. Check the sig, thats one part that really helped me alot, calmed the truck down over the rough stuff, and with 90 1/8th buggies racing on the same track that weekend it was rough!
Try Boca Bearings. The ceramics they offer may suit your needs better. You do pay a premium for them though.

Have you used the ceramics before? I've heard that they don't last to long in offroad, true?

Default Chassis

Hello alll....just got a used B4 and want to put the plastic chassis on the car. I hear many run the plastic instead of the graphite one. Can anyone give me the part number as I have the FT manual and it only list the composite chassis number. I know it's probably back in the thread somewhere but that's thirty something pages back. Thanks

Part #9560 - I definately recommend this chassis over the graphite ESPECIALLY on the B4. It will make the buggy more predictable.

OK--I was to lazy to go through 37 pages to find out what is a good servo for a FT B4? and what a good gearing to start with on a medium sized track, just a general gearing as I have 4 differant motors to try out anywho. I have not even picked the buggy up yet so I just needa general range plz.
