The first FT kits came with Hard Chrome shock shafts which were silver in color...the later FT kits had gold nitrated shafts like a junky losi product. I like the old hard chrome unobtamium shock shafts better myself.

Most of the team agrees that the JC scoopless is the way to go.

If you are having forward bite issues, or lack of high speed stability, this body can be the root of it.

They are/have done new bodies. They have a ring at the bottom of the body, this indicates that they are the new style... Also, new internal clips are being done, which will be out very soon, if not already.

What do you mean by "internal clips"?

He's reffering to the clips that snap into the shock body to retain the o-rings and o-ring spacers.

Thanks Adam. I looked it over again on the weekend when I installed it and its actually the ST126MG which replaced the 125 that was prone to issues.

I'm nearly set for my debut on Thursday. Still getting accustomed to charging the LiPo's with the inline balancer on my ICE charger.

Tonight I will be wiring up my Tekin RS and 10.5 and adjusting the ESC with some recommended settings. I don't have the Hotwire yet but that will be next on my list, before the servo I think. We will see how the first night goes.

I am looking to replace the servo in my B4. I am currently running a Cirrus CDS751/MG servo. Looking at the specs the servo seems like it should be great but for some reason it seems a little slow. I have a Hitec HS-7955TG that is in my savage right now. I was thinking of taking that out and putting it into the Buggy. Is that Hitec servo overkill? Will it even be good to use? Or should I be looking into something a little lower end? I am using a Spektrum DX3S radio with a SR3000 receiver. Just in case that info is useful.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Definitely pick up the hotwire and feel free to hit me up for setup help. With spec type motors the settings available with hotwire make a night and day difference.

Grab a Volt Meter that does Ohms and check if it the resistance between 2 point about 1cm apart is 0 or close to it or infinity.
If it's 0 or close to it then presto it's carbon

Ok, I was thinking that the "clips" you referred to were clips to hold the body on the car, not the shock body.

Yes, I am a dumbass.
