From some factory guys: they are working on some new shock towers and minor things to make the car/truck work better with the lighter weight of lipos, have not heard anything about a whole new platform though, but let the speculation go anyways, people always sell off there old stuff cheap if they think a new kit is coming out, and I could use some spares

Craig
I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can't make anything usefull happen with that site. None of the drop down menus have anything in them.

What are you doing that I am not to make this site useful?

The site does not work in FireFox. I have not tried Chrome or Opera yet but IE does work if you don't mind using it for one site.

Hope this helps

Default Gearing

I know how to find the FDR but that does no good if I dont know what that number means.

Can someone explain what the FDR means. And the differencesw between higher and lower numbers. What is the optimal range?

Thanks

If there are any differences, there will not be many, the cars are already so good as they are so good as they are that it will be possible to buy the updated parts

FDR = (Spur/Pinion)*2.6 (internal GB ratio)

Bigger number means the motor is not working as hard to turn the wheels. Therefore ore punch and accelleration, lower top speed and a more runtime.

Smaller number means the motor must work harder to turn the wheels resulting in less punch, but more top speed and less runtime.
