Just want to thank everyone for posting in this thread. Just finished a "quick readthrough". Not sure how much I retained but I surely learned alot. I have a b4ft kit and a t4rtr on the way and can't wait to start building and upgrading. Thanks again. -Mike

Anyone using an SPX in their cars? And what do you think of it?
#8588

I have them in my B4 and T4 and really like them in both.
We usually run timing in the motors so Profile 3 is most we use but we are going to start testing the different profiles and motor timing. So far anything higher then profile 3 with timing in a motor just makes it run hot with no gain.

Oh sweet I'm loving mine in my sedan on profile 8 was wondering if you knew about gearing. Let me know what you come up with

Best ESC I`v have ever race with...
Way smoother than a Sphere , I know... Hard to believe !
On power & off, the SXX sets a new standard...
New metal case design eliminates the need for a heat sink for off-road.
It stay`s even cooler than the Sphere.
Also the sensor wire now plugs into the back side of the ESC making for more slack on the wire ...
A lot smaller in size as well...

That's SXX the sensor wire thing is at least.

Does anyone know what degree rear hubs come on the T4 RTR? I bought mine used and then upgraded it with the carbon fiber kit.

I'm running the SPX in my B4 in the 13.5 class. Great speedo. Very smooth, yet extremely powerful.
My current settings: 2-7-1-1, FDR = 6.2 - 6.5 depending on which motor and timing settings. Our track has lots of 180's and tight sections mixed with a high-speed sweeper at the end of a 120ft straightaway.
