Bridgewater, are you running the 5000mah 20c Reedy lipo? Fixing to order my first brushless setup and want to know if this is the correct battery.

Keys-

Yes, I'm using the 20c 5000's. P/N 703.

The 35c has more power, but are a are a little bit heavier. However, if you are running a spec class, such as stock or 19t, they yield more power. Most say it's like going down 1 turn. They aren't exactly needed for mod.

Keep in mind, the 709 will be a more than snug fit into the 2wd... You may have to grind to get it to fit. The 711 battery will be what you want if you get the 35c batteries.

Depending on the brand of motor, anywhere from a 22-25 would be good, with a 81 tooth spur

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you always want the 35C over the 20? I mean more power is always good, right? Especially in racing brushless...
