isnt that the truth, took about 4 or so hours to build the car, and then i spent about 5 on the shocks, couldnt get them right so so fustrating othert than that beautiful car, no slope what so ever, compared to the losi it was like comparing a daewoo to a ferrari! the B4 being the ferrari,

Would adding a diaphragm change the way the shock works at all? like change the damping of it? but the diaphragm and yokomo cap good.

Default vcs foams

I have given this some thought over the past few weeks.

Not sure the VCS foam spool things would work. You would lose a ton of down travel in the shock, and there isn't a good way to compensate for the loss.

I have some of the Yok caps coming (been on order for weeks now). Not sure they will work in the rear shocks. Like another poster mentioned, maybe not enough volume. Pretty sure they will work for buggy front shocks.

I have a question about the rear axle spacers on my ft b4. Do you install them with the smaller diameter side facing the wheel or facing the bearing? This is the part I am referring to. Right now I have the small side facing the rear wheel.

Thanks!

The small side faces the hub/bearing. The large flat side faces the wheel.

There's many,

Airtronics 94360
JR Z4800S
KO PS-2173

I don't know about Hitech and Futaba but there good servos too. I use a JR Z4800S with no problems.

I use a Futaba 9450 in my electric cars. I personally like Airtronics and Futaba radio gear.

I bought the JR servo becuase it was the cheapest high end servo my LHS had. I know the price between the Hitech and the JR on online stores is only $5.
