On limiters, what is the effect of reducing droop on the rear of the car? I had a problem with popping dog bones for a while, so added a few limiters to reduce the droop.
Fixed the dogs popping, but i'm not really experienced enough on the trackto know if it's having an adverse effect elsewhere. I don't really want to unnecessarily lose performance because of an annoyance!

Too much droop in a B4 is a really bad thing. You won't notice any difference in the way the car handles in the rough but with too much droop the car transfers weight too much and becomes tough to manage on fast corner entry. You should have .060-.090 (two or three white plastic wahsers) for limiters in your rear shocks. I have found this to be a pretty sensitive adjustment on the B4, not so much on other cars.

Most set-ups that I have seen say 1 limiter in rear and uscrew front ends 2 turns. This results in more Droop in the front, so I usually only unturn 1 time.

1oz under tranny
.25oz in rear side pods (behind esc, behind rx)
the rest under the battery.

*the rest=whatever it takes to get up to I dunno...65+/-oz at race-weight.

I don't run a truck so I don't know the overall weight yall are using, but I know a heavy car is a happy car.

because of almost 3oz difference to nimhs, I've added 2.5 oz under rear tower,(requires mod to foam spacer) 1/2 oz on each side of the servo, and 1/2 oz on top of the servo. drives and jumps with great balance.
I'm using smc 5000 2s batteries.

Hey guys. This might sound like a stupid question ,but with this front wheel mod, what front wheels do you use from the LOSI range? And what are the names of those skinny front B4 tire that I see everyone using. ( with the 4 grooves )..I've been running a B44 since they came out and only just got a TF B4 this week. I got it used and it only has LOSI taper pins on some stock B4 rims.

As far as the tires, pro line makes two pairs, first are the narrow/standard 4 rib part# 8175 and then the wide 4 rib part# 8176. If you are running on a loamy track i would run the wide front tires, the narrow front tires were made for clay tracks.

Do not run these wheels. The Losi wheels don't fit on B4s!!!

B4 fronts put the bearings inside the wheel, where as Losi has them in the hub.

His original question was asking which losi wheels to run if you do the losi front spindle mod.

Thanks for the help guys.. Yes, I run on a clay track here in Australia. It's this one actually.

http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/bigfix/

So i would use the narrow/standard 4 rib part# 8175 tires yeah? So will these tires fit on those LOSA7004 Wide wheels still or is there a narrow/standard wheel that suits? I see the wide wheel is the same width as my B44 front wheels. I owned a XXX4G+ and noticed that if i swapped the front LOSI hex spacer over with a Associated hex spacer (the associated one being a thicker spacer because the associated front wheels have a deeper hex hole in the wheel (and if you just tried to fit an associated front wheel on the LOSI hex you would 1):have a wider offset and 2):run the risk of the hex pin coming out as it is not protected by the wheel)) that I could run B44 wheels all round and I would only need to have one make of wheels in my pit box. If these LOSI wheels that i am to use with the wheel MOD are the same width as the B44 wheels can I use my B44 wheels all round after changing to the Associated hex? Then I can run my Rulux wheels

Thanks for all the help lads...Oh and I am
