Guys guys guys, first he only asked about a B4 shiny cvd's not B44. The mip kit states for RTR B4 for whatever reason, but it can be used with any B4 of course.

Could someone please tell me a good setup to have on your ESC (setting up on computer)...punch power etc for a high grip technical track with a lot of jumps that need quick power and not a ton of top speed...I have a 5700 motor with MM ESC. Im also only running Orion 3000 NiMah batts....18 pinion with stock spur gear...and suggestions on changes? would Lipo make a huge diff on power? Thanks in advance for any help.

nope,I wrote 9673 not an 9763 I do beilive that is same bones, BTW I can't find the coach's comment. can you have the link?

Hey guys... I'm back!

I just ordered the following parts for my new T4 FT Kit - I'm gonna build it once and forget about it!

You guys see anything I missed? Or anything that I should consider changing?

Ohhh BTW this will be a Lipo powered truck.. Thus all the aluminum trying to get the weight back up.

Thanx!

While you were at Kfactory why not pick up the motor heat sink? Works well but not with Lunsford fat boys.Use the stock motor plate. I had leak problems with the blue shock tops.

Why would you waste your money on the K factory alum. parts ??????

The stock setup is great. The lightweight outdrives, dont do well with brushless power, they snap.

Save money and get a lipo and a good charger, dont waste it on eye candy and then your truck will bend and tweak and you wont even notice.

Oh were we basing this on performance? Cuz it seemed he wanted a pretty lookin T4.

Nonetheless, the Illuzion body is much better looking in my opinion. But you are right, the stock T4 body will work just fine. But if he is spending all this money for stuff he really doesn't need then why not spend an extra $20 to get a better lookin body?

LOL... OK Guys so maybe there is alot of eye candy there. But at the same time I needed to put some weight back in the truck because of running Lipo. The majority of the parts I chose keep the weight fairly low on the chassis... And Yeah... They look awesome.

Yeah.. I could have done it with plates under the battery.. but what fun is that? I want this thing to look awesome as well as perform awesome.

Money really isn't an issue... So yeah! I'm gonna blow a little on this thing.

I just figured maybe you guys would have some ideas on some more stuff that would actually effect the way the truck drives or something to help the durability.

But I see that for the most part everybody wants to bash my choices in spending cash that I bust my ass for every day. So maybe I'll just keep my posts to myself from now on.

I do appreciate the post regarding the lightweight outdrives... I am running a Novak GTB Spread Spectrum with a 13.5 Brushless motor. I don't really think breaking those under what is essentially a stock motor will be a problem. But thanks for the heads up anyway. I truly do appreciate an honest response instead of just bashing my choices.

BTW - Yeah.. I did buy the JConcepts Hi-Flow Illuzion Body. Was actually one of the first things on my list... That thing is awesome looking!

But thanx anyway though.

Hey I actually have a question about lipos if anyone can help me...

Can I use a lipo battery without buying a brushless esc and motor or can I use it with my existing setup?

Right now I have a LRP Quantum 2 esc with a 19t Checkpoint Money motor.

I was planning on buying an Orion 3800 lipo but wasn't sure. I don't want to fry anything!
