are the t3/b3 slipper plates smaller than the b4/t4's? I wonder...if they are a direct fit onto the b4, the tootsie roll setup can be used with even smaller spurs using the supposedly smaller slipper plates, right?

Chris you going to peg on Saturday? Dude by the time you put in all the work of putting this thing together you might as well get the turbo hub and redo your diff.

ill be there if my girlfriend has to work, shes not sure if shes gonna get called in or not yet.

and lol to your comments

im about to order a 72t spur and a 69t spur and slipper pegs. They are tc3 spurs and lucky me...i own a tc3 haha. So if they dont work, ill end up using the 69 for 17.5 in tc3 eventually.

the AE spurs and Kimbrough spurs are the same right? The place im ordering from has the kim 69 but not the kim 72, only the AE 72...

these should also prove useful, josh.

Cool. I should be there too.

I dont know what 17.5 your running but I am currently running 65/33 and planning on going to a 34 pinion with my novak and the motor is coming off the track after each race temping at 115 to 120 plenty of bottom end and very quick down the straight.

I know Murffdogs 17.5 at the nats where running a 72 spur and they were very quick but it depends on the motor from what I am finding out.

Try to make some out of the Jaco's for the T-4. Talk to some Associated sedan racers also.Check out some foams for a 10L,also.The rears are a bolt on? Been too long since my 10-L is gone. Foams for my T-4 make it accelerate very quickly-I still have some from when I raced on the Rain City carpet track.

I could not find a B3 thread,

so

Does any here know if the b4 rims and tyres will fit a B3?

Also can the b3 diff and slipper handle fast motors like say a 5.5 or 6.5turn brushless?

any help would be good
thanks

You use this gearing for a 13.5 brushless? Sounds like a gearing i would run if i was using a 13t brushed motor.

The rims should be the same

The diffs should last, i would recommend starting fresh with a diff rebuild kit and some carbide balls, break in the diff., set your slipper and it should stay butter for a while.

The B3 rear rim is a very different offset. If you put them on a B4 the rear width will be VERY wide.

Never tried it. Supposedly, changing to the inline steering blocks (9577) and axles (7459) will give the car an overall aggressive feeling. Steering entering and exiting corners is increased but straight line stability is reduced.
