more forgiving...

rpm makes a set of arms and bulk head for the 1/10th scale gas truck that work very nicely on the t4. Pretty much makes the front end bullet proof!

78 Spur gear if you're using a 17.5 motor. Then throw on a big pinion gear

Other than that, if you're getting the team kit, get the aluminum front hinge pin brace, Heavy Duty Servo Spring, and FT Servo Saver Bolt.

selling a pair of johnny's lipo weight plates (OCD RACING) sold my t4/b4 so no longer need these, ran with the 4800 for awhile, and hooked up great with the "factory-stock" setup.

I am ordering a FT B4 and FT T4 from my LHS.. How will they be able to distinguish the old Factory Team kits from the new ones? Is there a updated part number for each kit? I dont want to be stuck with the older kit like last year when I purchased one in Jan or 08

I know the box for the B4 changed it color to BLack.. did the T4 as well?

Does it say 20th Year Anniversary on both boxes?

It was a running change, so all the new kits are the updated ones. The part #'s are the same.

As long as the kit is ordered, then chances are it is the black box version (the only way you would get the white box is if the kit was sitting in a storge room for a long time)

Hey, what does the updated u-brace do? Im having a brain fart! Is it for the B4/T4 or just the B4?

Anyone have Ryan Cav's 2008 CRCRC setup for B4/T4?? AE lacks to update their site!

Also, what colored springs come in the FT B4/T4 kits?

It's thicker. So when you look at setups, it's already considered to have 2 washers on it compared to the old version. Made the part a lot stronger.

B4 Comes with Black Rear/Brown Fronts.
T4 comes with Silver Rear/ Green Fronts I believe.

AE doesnt update their setups anymore because they dont run anything new. You'd be surprised how not close the setups are to what they really ran at a particular race. Just start with cav's latest hot rod setup and go from there.

Ya, Im starting with his Trackside 2007 setup.

Last year, I was running a Losi CR Buggy, was having troubles with the way it worked. So at the big race, I bought a FT B4, Built it, put RC's Trackside 2007 setup on it, didnt get a chance to practice at all with it. I TQ'd 5 seconds over from 2nd place, and also picked up a lap from my Losi CR Buggy. When I set that TQ, the track was wet, so i was running pink taper slicks. But then the track continuted to dry out, didnt have the right tires (Pink BK Bars in the rear) and no one came close to it! But later to find out, The changed it from Rocket round qualifing (One best race) to best 2 out of 4 races. I had some bad races. So ya.

Ill post pics when im done with the cars!
