Is anyone running the novak 8.5 system in a B4? I have one in mine but I still can't get the fearing right. I had 20/81 and I had too much bottom end and not enough top end so I switched to 23/81 and I still have too much bottom end and not enough top. I just want to know what pinion to buy.
My setup is:
Novak 8.5 BL
4000mah 2 cell lipo

No one pinion , all depends on the track...
recommend 25/78
Use what you think performs best for you...

Either the Komodo or the Money motor is good. A lot of people here have a lot of success with the murfdogg motors.

I would have to go with the CVD's. Much fewer chances first of all of them popping out somewhere on the track. Plus, they seem to be a touch smoother than the dogbones.

Start with Cavaleiri's (spelling?) B4 indoor clay setup and go from there. I've had great luck with that setup on everything from dry blown out tracks to super high bite indoor tracks. It's on Associated's website under downloads along with a ton of other setups. Not sure on the T4 setup, I haven't run one in years.
