What would be a good 19 turn brushed motor for the b4? I have a friend who doesn't quite want to go brushless but wants to get his feet wet in something other than novice.

Another Question: Do they make RPM Ballcups for the B4? I had them on my Losi XXX4 and I really liked them.

Yes RPM does make ballcups for the B4.

Either the Komodo or the Money motor is good. A lot of people here have a lot of success with the murfdogg motors.

I would have to go with the CVD's. Much fewer chances first of all of them popping out somewhere on the track. Plus, they seem to be a touch smoother than the dogbones.

Awesome, thanks for the recommendation. Do you have a rough starting point for gearing? We run on a small/medium track with high traction.

Yeah I usually run CVD's but I wanted to see if the dogbones gave the car more corner speed.

Start with Cavaleiri's (spelling?) B4 indoor clay setup and go from there. I've had great luck with that setup on everything from dry blown out tracks to super high bite indoor tracks. It's on Associated's website under downloads along with a ton of other setups. Not sure on the T4 setup, I haven't run one in years.
