MurfDogg, Banzai, P2K2, Reedy

Any one will do. Stock class is about driving IMO. Just make sure you have pinions for gear changes (19 to 21).

is there a turn requirement for this class? my esc will handle 13 and up. I was thinking 15T reedy flash. would this be a decent choice? thanx

Yes, you can only use a 27t, 24* fixed timing stock motor in the stock class.

The best motors right now are the Trinity stock motors, like the CO27 pro (blue can), and the monster pro (green can with a blueish tint). The new Reedy stockstar motor looks nice as well (I'm not sure how it is, as I have never used it).

Paultab4: Stock class racers all run 27 turn brushed or 17.5 turn brushless motors. If you have never raced before I would strongly advise you start off in this class. Great racing to be had!

Since my RTR servo was not cutting it, I got a new HS-645MG. Installed it today and still do not have the steering that I thought I would. I checked to make sure that there was not any bind in the steering with the servo disconnected, reinstalled the linkage and still have the same issue. Takes a two car driveway to turn around. Would it help to use a longer servo saver and move the linkage up one or two holes on the servo saver??

The Hitec 645 is a high torque servo. You need the speed as well as torque. I use a Futaba 9452 in my T4. Yea it is a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

Did you turn up your d/r or your endpoints?

i just rebuilt the whole rear end on my b4 including the diff and when i put it back together after i ajusted everything it seem to run fine but when i pick up the rear wheels and let off the throttle the wheels seem to stop faster then they used to. so but when i run it feels fine so im guessing it maybe binding somewhere or do i just need to let the diff break in?

Is it making any weird noises or is it louder than usual? Could the pinion be too tight?

Is anyone running the novak 8.5 system in a B4? I have one in mine but I still can't get the fearing right. I had 20/81 and I had too much bottom end and not enough top end so I switched to 23/81 and I still have too much bottom end and not enough top. I just want to know what pinion to buy.

My setup is:
Novak 8.5 BL
4000mah 2 cell lipo
