What gearing should you run in a t4 with a x11 lrp brushless 4.5 and 5.5
#4637

i think you'll find the front axles take 5-40 nuts, like the slipper nut.

Ok Guys need some Help.
Started Running my Mod T4 in the RC Pro Series since Carlton now allows the Mod Truck w/ the Nitro 1/10 Truck
Saw a few guys with Losi XXX and 8000mah Lipo in there Truck. It appears quite a bit thicker than the Orian 3200 Pack I run...
Any suggestions on The following....
Lipo Ta Run a LRP 7.5 Brushless system for 30 minute main????
How ta make the Thicker lipo fit in the Radio Tray????
I do have access to a 10.5 Motor as well if that would help run times???
Thanks Guys
Stav

I know that the Yokomo MR4BX can use B4 CVD's, so I'm assuming this is correct, but can a B4 use Yok universals?
I hate getting dirt into my CVD's, and rebuilding them every week is getting to be a pain. They're getting ground down as well, and they just seem, no matter how much black grease or red grease you use on them, they really aren't all that smooth, its still metal on metal, ya know!?
Does anyone have, or has anyone tried using the Yok universals on a B4?
I know Racer's Edge makes CVD boots, but a guy at our track has them and says the boot is too big and does not fit properly.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance.

I need some help with the gearing.
My LRP Vector 6.5 died and the only motor I have as spare is an LRP 4.5. I know that the motor is too hot for the T4 but I tried it and the car worked really well on the track. I ran a 14 tooth pinion. According to LRP instructions a good starting point with this motor is around 12.4:1 and that should mean a pinion around 18 in size in a T4.
Now my only concern is the temp of the motor. It was quite hot today after a 7 minute run. Is the reason the small pinion size? Will it help to go bigger? I would like to keep it at 14t since the car behaved so well.
Pls respond soonest. Racing tomorrow again..

Im looking for a T4 FT Roller before it was made in China. I've heard that the new kits are not so good quality, is this true?

[QUOTE=gijoe64;4486688]not sure about the kits made here or china, but i bought mine from tower and everything was ok with the kit but it had one bad shock body. i think that was it, otherwise everything was good. now i can see a kit to kit difference in all associated cars not just a t4. for example i have two tc5's and one kit was top notch and the second was junk. i guess it's a hit or miss type deal.
