I've really found something in powdered graphite instead of grease or oil to lube the tranny gears. It makes sense when you think about it, drops of liquid lubricants try to stick to each other, and at high speeds can drag on the drivetrain. But a dry lube like powdered graphite just floats around in there.

Hi guys!!
How free do you run your diffs??
When I hold the spur and spin the wheels, it turns 2 or 3 times
Does it sound ok? I dont want the diff to slip, I'm running a Novak 5.5 so..
How does yours feel??
THANKS!!!

Kevin - the #4 washers are .044, or at least that is what my calipers tell me.
Loverc - I would tighten that diff up about 1/16th of a turn, and make sure that you keep your slipper clutch adjusted right so that the diff doesn't slip. You should start with your slipper 2 turns out, from all of the way tightened down.

Hey, I am new to Team Associated and recently bought a used B4 factory team kit. I was wondering, is there supposed to be a washer/spacer between the two bearings in the front wheels? Please help!

Thanks. I was wondering because all of my previous vehicles had spacers. One more question. Do you know why my wheel won't keep spinning as long as the other one? I replaced the bearings and backed off the screw, but it still won't spin very easily.

If you're running a 5.5, make sure you have some give in the slipper, just like hockey 85 said.
