A radio is a radio, get whatever's comfortable for you to hold and in your price range. Steering servo, generally for trucks I tell people to go with metal gears and at least 80oz-in of torque at 6.0v, 120oz-in if you've got the money for it.
Motor, ESC, and gearing all depends on which class you want to enter: Stock, Modified, or Brushless

oh just 3! lol.
go brushless if you can afford it. I'd get a novak gtb & what ever motor for the class you want to run. worth it..no motor worries or maintenance. plenty of power.
I'd suggest you check out the local track and hobby shop to see the locals use, tires espeically. it will save you time/money if you can get on the right tires w/o experiementing on your own.
Setup. I would start w/ the factory setup...download the manual from AE..those are the stock settings follow those for a starting point.. Try it first. Before chaning anything you need to be a consistent driver, so practice alot before even worrying about setup. if you are not consistent and make laps w/o wrecking...setup don't me chit. fact.

Cut him a little slack...it's obvious that English isn't his first/primary language. (A check of his profile suggests to me that he's from the Philippines.)
Batang, you might also want to check in the Manila forum to see if anyone has any suggestions for you. I don't know what's popular or available over there, but for the radio, Futaba or Sanwa is almost always a good bet, and the Novak or LRP ESCs are good. If you can afford it (and your club allows it), a brushless motor/ESC combo is good because of less maintenance. Also, as was suggested, it's preferable to get a metal geared servo because they will stand up better to the rigors of racing.
Gearing will depend on the track and the motor you have, so see if any of your local racers can give you tips on what works for what track. If anything, the manual for the T4 gives a good starting point gearing chart, and the manuals (and setup sheets) are available for download on the Team Associated website (manuals -- click here; setup sheets -- click here) in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format.
Hope that helps get you started. Good luck!

For those of you with T4s or GTs, I have a bunch of tires (new & used), rims, foam, etc I need to sell. Make me an offer on the stuff:
