How much weight do you guys add to your cars when your running lipo?
Ultimately a lighter car will be faster but getting it to handle right is the problem. These cars were designed with the heaver 6 cell packs in mind. A 3800 pack with bars is about 5oz more than the 4800 pack.

I run the platinum pack's and added about 5oz to both the t4/b4 to get it back to the weight when I ran 3800's. I have been messing around with different setups to eliminate some of the extra weight.

I would like to know if it is possible to just add the rear Gt2 hubs to a T4? Not changing anything but the hubs and bearings. I keep blowing the outside bearing in the stock hubs.

dont forget if you switch to BL AND LiPo from brushed and NiMh the BL speed control will be heavier so take that into account..

I think it will, but you might lose some if not all of your wheelbase tuning options as a result. I'm racing tonight but next time I get a chance I'l break out my calipers on both my trucks & get back to you

t4 ride height should be around 32 front 30 for most tracks.. 31 - 29 for higher bite tracks......

That used to happen to me, when I didn't balance my tires. Now that I balance my tires, it doesn't happen anymore.

It really is worth the effort, the vehicle will have more traction and will be more consistent.....

I know how tires are balanced on a real car, how do you do it for r/c?

As far as stadium trucks/buggies go, fronts are easy. Put the chassis up on a stand and wait for gravity to let the heavy spot roll to the bottom. Then stick weight to the top, making sure not to put it where it might hit the suspension. It might not be much, I've balanced truck tires with those small stickers companies like Pro-Line & RPM include with everything they sell. Rears I imagine you could do the same way if you take some time to pull the CVD apart.

There are tire balancing stands out there, but do you really need to be that precise on a tire that's about to get coated with dirt anyway?

Basically, you buy a prop balancer then, you put the tire on the balancer giving it a slight spin. When the wheel comes to a rest, that is your heavy spot at the bottom. Put a mark on your wheel, opposite that heavy spot. That's your light spot. Then with modeling clay (bought from wal mart for like 3 bucks) you add weight in the wheel on that light spot until the wheel balances out the heavy spot. When you have it right, the wheel comes to a rest with the heavy spot and the weighted spot opposite each other in a straight line....

I hope this helps, I am not very good at explaining things....
