I drive all over to race offroad here. I love going to different tracks and getting different competition. But winter makes that hard. So I'm now doing carpet oval with a pan car. Never thought I'd do oval. But racing is racing. And you know what? Oval is actually pretty awesome. Fast and requires total concentration. I thought it may hurt my offroad driving, but now think the opposite. I think the concentration you put on staying on your line for 50 or 60 laps, will help do the same in offroad.

Bob-switch the "lowering" and "raising" in the tuning guide and its right on. IMO moving the axles up is more steering, but more "pivoty" where the steering just isn't smooth. Lowering them would of course do the opposite, and just give really smooth almost numb steering responses. I mostly stick with middle, but you never know until you try.

... Raising the axels (both spacers above the steering block) will give the car less steering entering corners....

... Lowering the axels (both spacers below the steering block) will give the car more steering entering corners...

If you think about it right off hand, it would seem the wording is backwords. I wonder if they mean by raising the axels in relationship to the chassis. As both spacers above the axel would raise where the chassis sits. And vice versa for the lowering.

Monster stock pro and the p2k2 both seem popular around here.

Can't seem to find the P2k2 anywhere, were can I by one?

Does Banzai, Fantom, or EA make the P2k2 still?

Zac,

If thats where the competition is, then clean off your foams and race there. Still want that setup? BTW I got it from Rich. I think people won't race that track for the simple fact that it's small.

New Buggy or Truck?

I spoke with a manufacturer the other day that makes on road parts for AE. As we were talking he stated that they are focusing on off road right now. I took it to mean they were getting ready to update thier current kits or offer a B/T5......can anyone shed some light on this...maybe Tony P?

Re-doing the GT?!? 'Bout time! Heck, I might even (shudder) race nitro if they are good enough for me to put down my flashlight-nitro powered cars!

Oldest rumor ever... No need for a new GT anyway, "old" one is still winning races.

I've been hearing that rumor forever now lately. Just thought I'd add to the hearsay. If they do that's cool, I'll pick one up sometime. Till then my "old" GT is still my main racer.
