So I broke one of my rear arms today(driving in street and just clipped curb w/rear end), and I was wondering what Arms are the best to replace them with? I see a lot of people around me running RPM, but what about the Proline Arms? Just wanted your guys opinion.
Thanks.
Thanks.

myself and my brother in law both ran AKA adapters with both being alittle bit different and neither of us had a issue with them...Seemed that we lost a bit of traction in the dirt since you have less flex in the tire it will tend to push/slide more and not grip to where the SC rims/tires have a taller tire on the outside that allows for flex and better grip but I LOVE THE 1/8th scale wheel look on these trucks
As for weight...go to your local mechanic shop and use static balance wheel weights and just use 2 or more til your happy or use throttle control and tap the brake in the air or let off the gas just before goin off the jump so it has less of a chance to "sail in the air"
Weights like these...
SHOWN HERE ON EBAY

thanks for the info.
i have tried all different kinds of throttle in the air and no matter what I do, as long as there's a slight breeze I can not get the nose down.
ive just been informed that beadlocks are slightly heavier so these might do what I need and wont need the wheel adaptors this way. just need to find a full set of them now

Hi everyone. Newbie here, just bought my first hobby grade RC. I got the Traxxas slash 2wd (5803) and I really love it. I was going to get the 4wd but a friend who is very experienced in RC's told me that starting with the 2wd would make me a better driver.
Anyway, looking to get another battery for it and want to go Lipo 2S and I just wondered if anyone would reccomend a good one for me that I can put in the truck without doing any modifications. The have some on the Traxxas site but I figured there have to be some generic alternatives that are better for the price. (Then again I could be wrong!) I checked and my ESC does have the low voltage meter on it.
Thanks in advance for any replies. I've wanted to race hobby grade RC's all my life and finally as an adult (31) I just decided to go for it. I enjoy the site and have done alot of browsing. It's great that RC racers have a place to go online.
