Default L8ight conversion to 4x4 SCT?

I searched but did not find a thread.

Will a L8ight to 4x4 SCT be possible without a lot of modifying?

Sort of, you'd have to fabricate bumper mounts, body mounts and use 8th scale SCT wheels for the SC8. Also, it would be about 2-3 lbs heavier than the average 4WD SCT. Its not really worth it, unless you run in an 8th scale SCT class. Then its a little too short.

Thanks for the reply.. We have an L8ight electric roller sitting here at the shop (for the last 2 years) and are trying to find a use for it.

Maybe we should just ebay the sucker... or try to sell it here....

E 8th scale has grown leaps and bounds here locally. Is it a first generation 8ight or something?

It was originally a Nitro Late Model 8th scale 4wd car. We then ordered and installed a Losi E-conversion kit for it. then it sat, and sat and sat.

Here is a link to what it was originally. If you're interested send me a PM.

I work (I should say volunteer) for a hobby shop and all inbound SCTE's are sold. Next batch is B/O till 8/20/2011.

So......

Anyways.. just trying to find a use for this L8ight. Having an SCTE really doesn't help
