Default Help With Balancing Tap Type?

Hey guys, I currently am running Gens Ace 5000mah 40c batteries. I am looking to try a Maxamps battery that is 6500mah 150c 2s. You have to choose your plug type, which I run Traxxas. You also have to choose your balancing plug type and I am lost. What is on my Gens Ace currently? I have a Venom Pro Charger Plus right now. Do I choose Hyperion taps, Thunderpower taps, Align/JST-XH taps, or FMA Cell pro taps? Whatever is on my Gens Ace now fits perfectly on the Venom charger.

Don't waste your money. They aren't 150c, nor do they hold 6500amh. LOTS of talk about these packs going on lately and how they misrepresent the numbers, and thereby mislead guys just like you. If you do a some searching here, there, and everywhere, you'll see what I'm referring to. Buy 3 more gens instead.

Agreed ! I think the GensAce uses Align/JST balance taps though .........

Okay, thanks for the help. I will scratch the Maxamps idea and maybe look for a Team Orion battery for racing. They seeem to get good reviews. At least I know what kind of taps they use.

balancing taps are a pain, i wish they would standardize what they use or at least make them easier to switch out. i have so many different connectors, i always just resolder a thunder power tap to the pack since i use the tp210 balancer.
