Default Losi XXX-SCB!!!!

My Losi XXX-SCB will be here on Monday! I figured for the price it looks like a really fun vehicle. I am not going to do a thing to it and take it straight to the track!

Horizon is the only place I have seen that has them in stock, so if anybody wants one for the fun of it there are some available!!!

By the way, I just happen to have an RS Pro and a Redline 4.5t motor looking for a new home. I bet it would be a real handful!!! Maybe I will throw it in in a few weeks or so.

This buggy is far superior to what kyosho put out with the roll cage and ability to actually get the body off. They will be in the same class though and two always helps out. Plus the vehicle looks awesome going around the track.

From the video I saw when it was first announced I loved how it looked going around the track.

People love scale looking things, plus the fact that it uses short course tires, I see a new spec class starting up! It'd be awesome if an open class started up with them.

Why do you think that? If I'm not mistaken I've gone back and read posts of when the Slash was first released and announced. Their were quite a bit of people that said "it'll never make it or stick or become a racing class." Yet look at what the Slash started.

I want one. I think the class will take off because the buggies are just like sct's but with out the parachute, makes me think it is gonna be easy and more fun to drive.

I think a lot of what will drive this class to success is the fact that it's a buggy that can be driven by 'mere mortals' rather than the top 2% of the sport. It will give those of us who have *some* skills a good competitive class to race in WITHOUT disturbing what is sacred to so many and allow 'us' to have fun instead of being told to 'move over'.

PLUS, we already have wheels and tires to fit it!!!!

PLUS, it looks realistic!!!!

I'm very anxious to try this and really hope that it gives another class for us 'mere mortals' to enjoy! And, I bet it really rips with a 17.5 and lipo for power!

picked one up today for my Fathers Day gift.

stock elects were ok (motor esc) for starting out on a track would be good to keep it stock for a bit.

but after about 15 minutes, i decided it needed more power, so in when the MM/5700. Now its awake. wheelies in the yard and hella speed. let off the throtle and it turns well enough to tracion roll and roll over. other than the MM/5700, its fully stock running 2s lipos.

cant wait to get this out with some guys and run.

The only concern that I have is open wheels which will lead to spectacular crashes that will wow the crowd but will leave the drivers closing their eyes as their car flies through the air uncontrolled.

Watched a few of them run at the Short Course race at Trackside this past weekend. They do look fun to drive and more realistic.
