Arrow How Can I Take Sharper Turns On My Slash 4x4

I have the stock slash 4x4 steering servo and servo horn etc. At the track while racing I find my truck taking wide turns. It doesn't rub on the body and on the ground has full power turns fast etc. Anyone help me is there a servo that fixes this problem or an upgrade?

Having a more powerful servo will help to move the tires into position faster and hold them there throughout the turn, but most of it comes down to driving style. How do you take your corners? How much Throttle/Brake?

you can move the steering turnbuckle to the hole furthest forward (closer to the pivot point) on the hub carrier out by the wheel. This will give you more steering throw.

+1 I got a spektrum 6090 servo in my 1/10 buggy and was the best $ i spent. The car automatically handled better!

Basically, you have to get enough weight transfer forward at turn in to lighten up the rear and bring it around. The lighter your rear end the more it will come around and the tighter the turn will be. Braking is usually required at or before turn in, but often times simply lifting off the throttle is enough. As soon as your back end rotates and comes around to where you want it get back on the throttle to set your rear end and drive out of the corner.

I need to practice using the brake all I usually do is left off the gas. I need to setup the 50/50 on the remote because I'm using the 70/50.

well if you havent upgraded anything on the rtr, im going to assume you arent running sway bars or a center diff. If you arent, do those 2 mods and your truck will turn and handle alot better!
