Default SC10 2wd

Is this a good truck worth getting? I'll probably just run it on the road and in the dirt.

if you are just going to bash I would recommend a slash, more durable and pretty easy to work on, waterproof electronics, etc. If you are looking to race though then yes I would get an sc10

Wow, It's guys like this that make it hard for a newb to come in here and ask a question. I guess you 2 just knew everything there is to know about rc the minute you decided to get into the hobby and knew your way around this site the minute you found it online. If you're tired of seeing the hundreds of newb post of "is this truck good?" or "is this ___ better than that__?" just pass the thread up and go troll another one more on your "expert/advanced" level.

Latrodectus27 the SC10 is a great truck especially for racing. It can be a great basher but be prepared to replace parts. The Slash is better basher as it is more durable and will withstand the beating. The Slash can be a nice racer with a few mods to suspension and different tires. Hope this helps

Default The SC10 is a great truck!

The SC10 is a great truck for back yard fun and steet driving. I personally enjoy racing mine mostly at the track. I think in the long run you will be happy with the truck. I would suggest you plan on upgrading the front bumper and arms to RPM equipment as it will dratstically increase the durability of the truck for your purpose.

The Slash is a great truck as well but is slower and heavier, however it is a very durable truck.

Another great truck to consider is the Losi XXX-SCT. These are a great truck as well and very durable.

If it was racing I would say you cannot beat the SC10 but for bashing and road driving... All three would perform great.

I like my sc10 for racing but would get a slash for bashing.
