Default TLR22 mid with stick pack

Has anyone had any success with the tlr 22 in mid motor config with a stick pack? The buggy looks awefully full with the mid motor. Does it only have room for saddle packs or the shorty's in that? I have a lot invested in stick packs so want to know before I take the plunge...

Out of the box, it wont work. I have seen one with a full stick pack in mid-motor. It was VERY tight. Definately have to use the smallest servo you can find and get creative mounting other things.

It can work. I ran the mid motor set up with a full size lipo. I ran a Savox 1251 servo (or most other shorty servo's should work).

I mounted my esc and rx on a lexan piece that sat on the battery and was held down by the velcro straps.

This may not be ideal for racing, but worked for me to get used to driving a 2wd mod buggy again

Good to hear man. That was the exact servo that I was planning on buying
