Well I recently got a 10TT and ran it with a Sidewinder SCT 3800 4 Pole and the Sidewinder overheated in 10 minutes, so I installed one of my Tekin RS, but after 20 seconds the stock capacitor gets too hot to touch, I am running the stock spur and the stock 13T pinion with proper gear mesh and nothing is binding I also have it set for unsensored, what do you think the issue is, do you think putting on a new or larger capacitor will help? the esc doesn't get hot just the cap

duh the rs cant handle that! the rspro would have a hard time taking that load.

get a suitable esc.

the rs should not be ran in sensored mode on a sensorless motor either.

too much load on the rs. the rs pro would be better butt still probably not the esc you want to use.
