Would you use them any ways, with all the great stuff from aka, proline and j concepts whats the point

Are there any set up sheets available to download except from the Serpent website which only has the default set up and a blank set up sheet.
Not really wanting to suggest another forum site but perhaps we could get a sticky for set up sheets and advice in the Serpent section of Oople or Petitrc as it seems thast it's not really practicle on RCtech.

Alright, enough of this being torn BS. I'm sending back the RC8.2e and ordering the 811e. There is just no comparison to any other buggy out there. This one is far and away, much better than the rest of the currently available offerings at the moment.

Now, Where to order from. Amain is ok, but I'm in cali and the sales tax they have to charge me is BS. I pay enough taxes to this state and I refuse to pay more than they already take from me. I guess I'll look at stormer. I think those are the only two places that sell it.

Just placed an order with Stormer. It's 514.95 shipped. Time to send back the .2e and sell off the Eco

The serpent is such an awesome design. Even the DEX408 is in it's shadow. The design innovation on this 811 has me sold. Cant waith to get it!

I also got the 811e for $514 shipped from stormers. Price changed this past Friday! Also, absolute match prices.

I bet we'll likely get our kits at about the same time. I think we should post up and monitor how efficient Stormer's logistics is since we placed our orders close together. It would be a great way for others to see the quality of his operation.

I cant wait to get the kit and start expirimenting with electronics. I have a few different tekin motors and differnt voltages of lipos to try. I'm going to start with 6s lipos and (dual 3s actually) and then 4s (dual 2s) with the appropriate Tekin motors.

Will 3S fit?

I ordered a 2050 on 4s.

3s soft case will fit, but there are some 3s 3000 mah harcase lipos out there also. I'll likely end up with the 1900 and dual 4000mah 2s packs. That should be a fairly powerful setup without excessive weight. I have a nano tech 6000 mah 2s that weighs about 400g (.8lbs) and some 4000 mah hardcase zippys that weigh 230g (about .5 lbs).

well i got to run my car today getting some testing in for the midwest champs and everthing went great my car got better ever run i start with the box stock set up and start tweeking a week or two and it be game on.

i know some people have ask how is my big cube orion speedo and i have to tell you it as smooth as the 1/10th scale stuff

i ran 7 mins with ever round warm up and the qual and the motor never saw more then 125 and my speedo got a grand 95 degs.

on the way home i got in a pretty bad accdent when i can see better i get a set up sheet made of where i am at now
