what can I do to make the battery holders a wee bit bigger? I have some 5600mAH lipos that are mega tight fit and slightly too high to allow the hold to be e-clipped. Will it be possible to cut it some where to make it flex more? I don't really fancy selling off 4 sets of brand new batteries :( Thanks.

The straps on my site allow for a little taller battery. :-)

With a thinner pack they have to be shimmed down a little to keep the battery from moving up and down. Feel free to order and if they don't work out you can send them back.

What are some setup tips for adding rear traction on loose tracks?

Now they somewhat announced it with live R/C. Do you have any idea on a date? Will we see them by winter? Gotta have it for the indoor season

I highly doubt it will be ready for this season. you willstart seeing the prototype entering reacesmaybe but I suspect you will see the decleration next February in Nuremberg Toy Fair.

RCmayor: Thanks, the straps I can bodge myself, it's really how tight the battery fits that is giving me a headache. i.e. need to remove the case from the chassis to give me enough flex to remove the battery. I guess I can try putting a piece of cloth before the battery to have a better leverage. Just hope serpent will come out with a slightly bigger battery case mould.

Is anyone running the new 2.0 shock upgrade on the E. Wonder how this would perform being the weight and kit is overal different.

A piece of cloth might work but it makes it fit even tighter. With a strap you take the whole door off so it is easier to get your fingers on both sides. Save yourself from a temporary bodge. :-) Ask anyone, these fit perfect and look the best.

Which charger for Serpent (2 packs)

Hi guys,
I am looking for buying the Serpent 811E. Since it has two packs configuration, I am wondering whether i need a multi lines (at least 2) charger or not.
I would preferably avoid a charger requiring a power supply.
Any recommendations?
Thanks

This is what I use :)

Just make sure to use identical rated batteries when charging together, and using (running in your car) together..

I color code each pair of batteries that I buy, so that I charge them at the same time, and use them at the same time (preferably)..
