can i use my stock spur gear on my rc8t ce and run a 14th pinion when i convert ?
im going.. to convert my rc8t and it has a 54t spur run as a nitro with a 14th clutchbell and im wondering if i can run the "54t spur" with a 14th pinion or do i have to use a diffrent pinion for electric ?

That's what I did on my RC8 for a long time, works fine. I finally switched to a plastic spur to quiet it down. They are really inexpensive. The plastic spurs are pretty durable depending on where you run. Just make sure you get a hardened mod 1 pinion if you run the stock spur. Hope this helps!

thanks well i want some noise thats why i want to use the metal spur gear yea il make sure to get the mod 1 pinions.
im going to get the mamba monster 2200 thats what the guy who does e truggy told me to get.
he said to run 100% throttle epa with a 3c or a 4c lipo and i think hes crazy lol.
