can you post a video of your SSC LCG chassis equipped slash?

I had my slash out this past weekend and the new losi is kicking my a$$ . I was checking out the rce lcg and liked it a little better than the ssc chasis. Just wondering if it would hold its own against the newer trucks. I really don't wanta have to go out and buy a new truck to be competitive. Thanks for the feedback.

I'd be interested as well. Considering some of the others I've see -- done privately -- this one isn't too appealing to the eye. I know that doesn't mean much, but if it doesn't look good, I'd like to see it perform. On the same note, the ones I've seen that look good, doesn't outright mean they drive well.

$150.00 just to hope a slash to be competitive is a JOKE!!! Sell the slash to a basher and buy a Losi or sc10 4x4.... or durango for that matter :ha:

I try to be nice, but then I come across people like you. While the Slash isn't intended for racing, it can be very competitive in the right hands. The people that beat me now would beat me regardless of what I run. mainly due to the fact that i don't practice or race much.

You should consider what you say to people. It's ignorance and poor attitudes like yours that keep people from the track.

Don't take it personally, go to the track and have fun....no matter what anyone says....this is your world just as much as anybody else.

They is nothing wrong with innovation.....where would we be without innovation... Id love to have the options to make the slash more competitive.

I go when I can, I just don't make as much of an effort. I like racing, I like being competitive. I have no interest in getting the new truck every month/season/year. And I have even less interest in hearing about how I should. I'm happy with my Slash, I don't understand why people can't get that. At the same time, whenever one of you want to pony-up, I'll drive whatever you're buying.

It just my opinion... dont waste any more money on a slash, If I offended you then Im sorry. :rolleyes: and what I said wasnt a poor attitude or ignorance but common sense. I guess your just like a dog chasing its tail... your never going to get it.

It absolutely is ignorance. In my opinion. And if I continue to state my opinion in that manner, it's gonna eventually get annoying. Your ignorance shows in your posts, but again, that's just my opinion. Your inability to understand the difference between "your" and "you're", again, is a reflection of "you" ignorance.

Now keep in mind, I'm just stating my opinion, albeit in a negative fashion, but it's just an opinion. Don't take offense. Right?

I think he meant dont waste your time in reference to the fact that if you already have a slash 4x4 and are getting your butt kicked but other trucks. Adding another $150 to maybe make it a more competitive truck seems just insane. that makes that slash a $400-500 truck that still is not as good as the new 4x4 ie Losi Ten SCTE or AE sc10 4x4....and i agree. Sell it to a basher save your $150 and buy a Losi..you wont have to spend another $150 on it to make it a top runner...No means is it bashing on Slash 4x4..it is what it is...

It's not what you say, it's how you say it.

That being said, he may have been trying to say what you said, he just said it differently. In my opinion -- since this seems to be the word of the day -- he delivered it in an rude manner. Notice how you said "spend", and he said "waste". I'll revert back to; Whenever someone wants to pony-up, I'll drive whatever they're buying. Until then, I'd appreciate not being told how I'm "wasting" my money.
