Hi again. I get AE shochs and spring. I test it with 25wt rear and 27.5wt in front. But I did not get what I realy expected. The rear end is still drifting. Can you get me all setup . We have slippery (clay with dust) tracks. I try with no rear sway bar it do not help me any way.

Proline Blockade m3 tires, Proline protrack arms. Front shocks: shock tower 2 arms 2. Rear shoch tower 2 arms 3.Model height 27mm. I try rear 26 + front 27-28 height it did not help.
I have but did not try Proline Caliber m3 , Blockade M4 and Jconcepts Subculture. I thing I will try one of this tires next weakend.

By the way last race I put some weight in my slash, about 70g. I have better tracktion but a little difficult on jumps. But lap time was better. Today I try with the same weight and without it. It did not have any influence for tracktion.

If you are losing the rear end and it is not subtle, you should start with the most drastic change first.....dont change your setup yet, but run m4's with the same tire shape that you were using b4, and let us know

Two questions:

a) Could you take a measurement across the 17MM hex mounting surface (with the A-Arms flat on the table for reference) with both the XO-1 and Revo hexes?

b) Do the revo hexes have any play or wobble on the XO-1 axles?

Yes, run m4 2.0 blockades in the rear.

I'd like to use something like the ANZA 2wd rear axle upgrade all the around on my slash LCG 4x4.
http://www.anzarc.com/product-p/anza2753.htm

Has anyone tried this? What mods are necessary to make it work w the 4x4 F and R hub carriers?

Thanks!

From those pics, it looks like if you want legal width you have to use the Revo hubs rather than the XO-1 hubs. Do you concur?

So are the proline A-arms w/XO-17mm adapters photo w/tires at <11.5" from angle and the Revo hubs at >11.5" but <11.75" (from angle again cause only toast has a square view). Can you put tire and ruler against a wall and give us a shot of the square'd view w/opposite tire flush in perspective? I can't believe these numbers cause I thought proline went 10mm out (per side...). Looking forward to Tekno 8mm 17mm offset (for stock 11.65 track w/DE rims) to compare against their 6mm offset I'm currently enjoying the added roll/sidebite on (similar to touring car approaches w/longer wheelbase & narrower track).

Black SSC w/RCE shock towers, protrac a-arms, XO axles and 17mm hubs is one nice looking setup.... Those DE rims are so problem free too. I've been burning 1-2packs per night after a long day building Space Coast R/C for 2-weeks and just checked some bolts at midpoint but didn't even touch hexes.... This track is already showing groove, and some cracks since we're not watering it until I complete track plumbing work tomorrow (3-hoses, w/4th to fill tire wash troughs in central/bathroom & grilling porch area). 90-degree ball valves for 3-track hoses which sure beats twisting needle valves open (but good at trough area for flow control). Hogged out a whole lot of 4x4 wood today to serve as custom wood spicket mounts against concrete block wall, just under metal hose hangers. Over 1/2-week drying w/o water now and rebars and suburbs are already gripping new surface. Track borders (yellow), stake system and perimeter wall capping (2x10x16'rs w/some 2x8's on pit lane and back low wall) all should arrive Friday. 5-plan set's finally finished plotted and setting course for expedited C/O possibly 2-staged for track and then pro-shop/offices following w/i 2-3 weeks. It's such a relaxation to view this track from the pit areas. No reason to leave your table to watch friends race, which is nice. Also fun setting up drivers' ramp hose spicket with a young cat getting ready to prep for Nationals at West Coast R/C who dug a shallow-trench 100' long while I was hogging out a 4x4 posts and pre-piping it. And adding more kick-up, pealing off the big-jump sequence face (too fast and not up enough). Can't wait to see setups like yours at this track just ripping it up on every feature.

Thanks! That is exactly what I was looking for...I already packed up my truck for SC Showdown Tacoma, but I will be installing my Green 17mm hubs when the race is over.

Btw, how did you take the anodizing off of the blue xo-1 hubs?
