That being said, he may have been trying to say what you said, he just said it differently. In my opinion -- since this seems to be the word of the day -- he delivered it in an rude manner. Notice how you said "spend", and he said "waste". I'll revert back to; Whenever someone wants to pony-up, I'll drive whatever they're buying. Until then, I'd appreciate not being told how I'm "wasting" my money.
Yea i understand, Its the internet and things can get misunderstood quite easily with type..unfortunately it shows no emotion and sometimes cant deliver the real posters intent.

Dont take it personally, means when someone has an opposing view or opinion, you should not respond with emotion.
For example, you want to make you slash more competitive. Someone expresses their view that you cant make it so. If you were to not take it personally, you would take the opposing view and digest it and move on. Its not a insult to your person, just a view/opinion.
You should react to positivity, not fuel negativity.

I pretty much agree, but to me, this still stands.

A comedian I saw gave a good example. Long story short it went like this:

One guy says: ....this asian mother******.

Other guy says: This ****ing asian guy.

The point was that the latter statement was offensive. Notice how I took no issue with what trickedout said.

This has been a fairly hot thread -- http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...nd-chance.html -- and I've seen a couple of these run. It seems the people really enjoy them and the consensus is seemingly that it helped the Slash 2WD perform much better. Dare I say, made it competitive!

Why is it so ludicrous to think the Slash 4x4 wouldn't benefit from an LCG chassis, significantly?

Listen...let me make it PERFECTLY clear. My SSClcg slash 4x4 will run with ANY current sc 4x4 10th scale truck out there. Plenty of these beating losi's and sc104x4's as we speak.

Nobody "hoping" here. My lcg Slash has been putting the hurt to many a Losi and sc104x4 over the past month.

I think ANY lcg chassis will be competitive. That's the problem with the stock slash, HCG and the extended skids that make it flip on its lid when coming short on jumps.

I think (as it was in my case) if you have a lot of $ in hopups and maybe have not owned the slash for that long, selling it would hurt. If you bought it used for a good price and really want to compete then selling it or getting a lcg conversion is not a bad idea. If able to go against yourself, a lcg would def drop the lap times for you. Also remember that the Losi being longer will be better on larger tracks and something a bit shorter might do better on smaller tracks. Not saying the Losi can't and wouldn't hang cause it will but just some food for thought.
