Hyper 10TT Motor choice

Im gonna be running a 10TT on an somewhat loose indoor clay track and Im trying to figure out what kv motor I should get, as of right now I have the Sidewinder SCT 3800 4 pole and I'm thinking about running the 4600 or 5700 4 pole with the Sidewinder. Will the 5700 overheat? What would you recommend?

hi how well did the sindewinder sct 3800kv combo go in the 10tt? because i just ordered the sidewinder sct 3800kv for my hyper 10tt. also what gearing did you use? thanks. :nod

I ran the 1406 4600kv in mine and it was a beast with a mmpro. The new Viper 4pole copperhead system should be perfect for this car too.

I run the CC 3800 4 pole with a 15t pinion and it rips. Esc never gets over 110. I do run the fan just to be safe but even before I put it on i never got over 120.

I too run the 3800 with Sw esc and fan on 15t. I recently picked up a MMP and it is a lot smoother than the SW.
My 5k 20C lipo does all right with this gearing but honestly i need to drop to a 14T.
My SPC 6k 30C is geared perfectly here.

I am picking up a Tenshock 4pole 4600 this week to test next. It was either that or 3s...
