Well even with the Losi axle, my Gt is still tab less wide than a T-4 ft end....

I gona add a .050 spacer so it comes close ...

And that scub stuff sounds good , but the king pin mod just allows you to use a longer ft camber link > which means more low & high speed steering....

I worked tonight on installing some racer edge rear hubs for the B-4 & T-4 & installed um on my Gt . The set of hubs I purchase has the extra Toe just like the Gt hub & allows me to get a wider rear track, its now as wide as the T-4`s.....

Get to try & race it Tommorow .....Oooo! Boy ! Even more traction....

Aaron,

Well at least there`s still plenty of time to make some improvements......

I was thinking of getting some T4 rear hubs to try out. Don't they have a couple extra camber mount holes also? When you say extra toe, you mean more toe-in like the gt comes with stock?

The Racer`s Hub has even more holes & you can adjust the height of the ball stud for even more tuning(Vertical stud holes) ....
&
Thats right , the team Gt has 3.5 degree ...

Make sure you replace with same amount of toe. The T-4 hub do not have as much toe I believe( less traction) . Thats why I`m using these Racer Edge hubs, they make one with extra toe.

I did however have to drill the supension pin hole out to 1/8 size...

Going to track track right now , will let you know how all of this worked....

Default Racer Edge 1.5 hub track report

I installed the hubs & ran them with T-4 dogbones for the first time...

I was amaze by the extra stability & traction...

My lap times were improved by a 1/2 sec per lap !

If you want to make your Gt even faster give this a try ......

You will be very please.....

Remember, you will need to use the Racer`s Edge 1.5 hub & you have to drill out the supension pin hole to 1/8....

The stock Ae T-4 & B-4 hub are only available in 3 degree`s....

Tip: When you install the T-4 dogbones with the T-4 RtR axles you will need to install a plastic spacer(#6440 thick washer) inside each end of the axle & outdrive to space the dogbones so they will not come out.....

Also install 7 of the thin shim`s that come with your Cvd`s for spacing on the end of the T-4 Rtr axle.... Also, do not use the axle spacer from the T-4, unstead just used 2 thin shim`s & a axle pin on the end of the axle where the wheel pin & nut goes on.

I ran the Gt with out the rear hub last week-end....

lap times were like >>>17.2,17.3,16.9,17.0,16.8,17.2 ect....

This week-end with hubs>>>>17.2,16.6.16.5,17.0,16.4,16.8,16.3 ect....

Trcr is a very consistant surface, so if you go faster it most likely cus you were faster, not the track....

Love the Gt now !

And I loved watching the Losi dudes wonder, what da heck! Is he doing....He !

Later on I will post the complete set-up for everyone..

Talking setup

Thanks for the info, I might have to do a little more tweaking.
Our track is pretty rough and very large. outdoor (170X110)
Can you say back straight dragrace!

Anyway I Am not sure that would be the setup for our track but if this other place in town gets going it would perfect!

TnBnDr, This set-up would be so much more stable over the bumps , it would make um feel like they dissappeared.....

You won`t be dissappointed by having the improved traction & best part is the truck will carry better speed though the turns .....No lie, trust me....

Its alot of work, I sould know, but well worth doing.....

best of luck with the slewing....

Thanks that would be great. In the mean time i will start looking for the parts. i still don't have my front end change either so I will start looking for those parts. Well thats not entirely true the car is widened front and back. and I have changed to losi pistons and limited the shocks.

Look forward to the pics !!

Thanks again for all the info.
