Hello all,

Recently I purchased an RC10GT and have it ready to roll. I was wondering what to do with the receiver to keep it clean. Should I stick it in a balloon or is there a small radio box I can get? What are you guys doing to keep dirt and oil out of your receiver?

I did the baloon thing for awhile. Just make sure to zip tie the end around the wires. But when I started racing it sucked if you had to change crystals. So I went with the rpm reciever box. It's a nice setup and very affordable.

Ok I went and found a link so you could see it and the price. You can get different colors than black also. Reciever Box

A lot of the team guys have been using the NTC3 receiver box in their gas trucks.

Here's a link to the NTC3 box: NTC3 Reciever Box I think I like the looks of the rpm better. But for the price, this will be the next one I try just to see how I like it.

Default New GT

The big topic about a new GT would be that NOW it has to have a quick release system for the rear hubs. ANY nitro truck will have a hard time competing with the Losi AD2 and its ability to change tires in 30 seconds or less. With that on a national level and longer mains the truck can run its fastest without the driver having to worry about losing traction halfway through the race. Im curious to see if the design completely changes or just gets a few tweaks. Id like to see something new but you cant complain about whats winning races.

Aaron , I don`t use crystal balls....
But I will get a up-date fer you soon...

Quick release hubs .......
Something you have to use when you run Losi tires.....

The new Gt will have plenty of feature`s for the Losi guys to worry bout...
Speed being the first .....

Losi tires with what being the alternative? Isn't that what was on the GT that won last year's Nationals?

Or did you forget?

I'll take you seriously when you finally show up to an important race.

Dude losi tires are dialed, like Aaron said, they are winning races, and will continue to. And if the new GT doesnt have a quick release rear hub it will struggle to win any top competition level races against trucks with everlasting traction.
