Default HPI Raceable ?

Hi guys

Just a question ...

Somebody knows if its legal for 2wd nitro truck racing going with an HPI Nitro Rush EVO ? ... i mean, if i get rid off the .15 engine and mount a .12 racing engine i will be allowed to race ?

thanks !

I remember Hara racing the Rush at several races. He did fairly well if I remember right, for a on-road guy.

It will be legal for racing. The truck itself isn't up to racing at a high level of competition, but it'll be fine at a local club race.

you shouldnt have to change your engine either. most local places will let you run a .15 if its the original engine in a RTR car. call and ask the track before you drop money on a new engine.

I think the question is, are you a serious racer or a basher that likes to race every so often?

Go to this site, you should find plenty of modifications that you might want to try.

Unless you're racing in IFMAR(whoever sanctions Nitro Offroad races) Sanctioned race, a Nitro Rush should be fine for small club racing, and I hear that the chassis bend problem has been resolved.

Some may not agree, but I have had nothing but problems with all of my Hitec Servos. I'd go with a JR Z590M servo. I'll post a link in awhile.

The GT has had more racing success. The Rush really isn't meant for racing as much as it is a play truck.
