Yeah its kind of a bummer, Ive had good success getting parts from race and drift japan. Shipping is reasonable and fast for part lots.

Race & Drift always stocked for parts - quick delivery as well - Yokomo is only around the corner from them. If AMAIN dont have what I want I go to Race & Drift. Can be a bit pricey on express shipping - but if you dont need it in a hurry, not so bad.

As for the MR I think Race and Drift supply the conversion kit only to AMAIN as they dont seem to stock it as a Mid setup car kit at R&D. This probably doesnt help you, as you need the car to convert it to MID mount.

Cheers

yeah at the moment the mid motor conversion is probably, and only, available overseas. markus could probably chime in on this. he's the only person at the moment i know that's got one. if you haven't got the first gen bmax2 it would be best to buy the mr kit. the price is right on.

if you have any questions on the mr or rs, ask in the other thread...

I been running the AE ball diff for some time. You have to schim it with 0,8-0,9 mm on both side. the out drive is the same width as the yoke diff.

I dont see why the gear diff would not fit? the yoke is bigger....

I should try to schim my AE geardiff and make it fit.

Is it just this I need for fitting Kyosho rears?

For the rears you'll need:

Yokomo part #bm-011s wheel spacers
Jconcepts part #2091 rear hex adapters
