JConcepts seem to have them in stock. However, I'll hold my breath until the mid-motor car is released and check if its body will also fit on the rear motor car. By the way, apparently it is now called the B-Max2 MR

Here is an email i received from JC about the body:

Hi S C . The body will be available through all of our normal distributors, and retail stores, but I do not know if A Main will order that body. Also, you will be able to get it through us. Thank you for your interest in JConcepts products.

Regards

So to me, that says JC are actually selling it from their site
Cheers

you guys are right. i thought it wasn't for sale on their site yet. the link i was looking at didn't have the add to cart option.

http://www.jconcepts.net/index.php?/...ls/2821/recent

at 22 dollars that's cheaper than what the other outlets are going to advertise theirs at.

Same to Germany. I ordered some parts once for the BJ4 I never raced. Since then, I only ordered there one more time when I was sitting in a hotel in the US.

Their freight used to be reasonable. I ordered bodies way back when. Havent ordered direct since. One way to steer sales to retailers vs. direct.

the shipping is ridiculous here too. and you guys are in other countries. i remember when they use to charge a third of what they charge today on shipping. they're starting to really get greedy. the prices of rubber bands and wheel nuts is beyond funny.

AFAIK the Japanese nationals started today. I guess we'll just have to wait for Naoto to win the 2012 2WD title so that it can be printed on the B-Max2MR boxes.
Edit: He just secured TQ in 2WD!

Just found a report in French on rc4ever. Everyone seems to be running the rear motor car, and the Finnisher is quite popular, too.

Liquidrc is out of stock atm, but list it at a price of 26 dollars. Considering their worldwide shipping rate of 99 cents, I'd call it a bargain!

Has anyone tried to install a Speed Passion Reventon R in the left side pod? The Pro is too wide, according to measurements the R might just fit in there...

Edit: Anyone capable of translating this?

As far as I found out, the RS is a budget rear motor car with plastic shocks and the MR is the full blown mid and rear motor kit.

Printing of the boxes can commence! Naoto TQed and won all three A-mains in the 2012 JMRCA nationals in 2WD. In 4WD, he was beaten by Kyosho's Kota Akimoto in 4WD after problems in Leg 1, finishing 2nd in Leg 2 and winning Leg 3.
