I'd disagree with that just based at a quick look at the narrow chassis / body shell and the front shock tower being behind the shocks, not in front like a B4.

Tough to say without being able to measure anything but I would agree that it looks like a long B4. The rear has a very narrow arm pivot, front geometry "looks" similar. The TLR 22 is pretty similar to the B4 geometry too. Considering the age of the B4 platform, it's starting to look like the sweet spot has been found.

So.... I talked to kamatsui at drift speed and things aren't looking good for importing the buggy due to the current exchange rate. Hopefully things change by release. I am hoping to get one to run. Are there any other options to get one here to the USA? Thanks

B4 and TLR 22 have way different geometry at front end. Compare those and in packet settings, they have steering linkage totally in different angles. Especially bump steer reacts very differently. Haven't compared, but the ackermann should also be different.

True, the configurations are very different, especially the steering. I was thinking more of the more general measurements like arm lengths.

i really hope they bring them over. i would defintely buy one. and amen on bringing yokomo back to the u.s.. parts should still be easy to find for the new car. the internets isn't a big secret.

Nope. Still a B4 but with a custom front end suspension mount and top plate.
