Default 1/8 E-buggy Runtimes database

Hello,

would like to start a data base on runtimes you get with your setups

Please give your detailed setup (chassis, weight eventually, lipos -mah, C rating, volts-, motor, ESC...)

I think this could be usefull for guys who would like to use the lightest lipos in their buggies during a race

Light = fast

The data I would like to know so it doesn't get skewed by unrealistic claims...

1) Must have actually completed a main. Practice doesn't count. Run times are always longer in practice.

2) How much mah was returned to the battery upon charging

Chassis - Team Associated RC8
Weight - 3.7kg
Li-po - Turnigy 5000mah 20c
Motor - Castle 1800kv
Esc - Hobbywing 80a
Skill - Intermediate
Tracks - Various tracks, all medium 8th scale, dirt or asto
Run Time - Will make a 15 min final easy in the dry, if its too wet then I will hit lvc (3.2v per cell) at around 13 mins.

How much do you think driver skill and style, along with track setup play into the runtimes?

Also, how much power does a BEC draw from the batteries during a 20 minute run? Would an RX pack make up for the weight by saving power?

Light = fast
Chassis=RC8Be
Weight=*unknown*
Lipo=IP 14.8v 4S 5600mah 40C
motor=Castle 1800kv
esc=Castle MMM
gearing=21/46

I ran a 20 minute main with this setup. It was the Losi Winter Series Rd2 Buggy Novice race. Finished 5th, because I crashed too much. The guy who owns HHH Industries raced with me so he can verify this. I had to drive conservative for the first 10 minutes, then started to open it up a bit. I don't know how much lipo I had left after that.
