Once you put the wheels on , this pulls the axle back into the bearing which covers the pin hole , so all is fine. i am just worried about losing a pin during wheels off maintence.
.

use a dab of ca glue then push cap on

Kit looks great! Glad to see less issues with this release than the Tc6.

Is it necessary to run the RX8 speedo? I thought this was 1/10th scale...

You could probably get away with a 1/10th scale esc if you were going to run a 540 motor, but that motor will probably only work for indoor setups. With a good outdoor setup most people are running 550 motors, which dont seem to get along to well with the smaller 1/10th scale escs.

The AE guys ran a 540 motor no problem and it actually ran 3 fasters with it vs the 550.

Just ask Chris Jaroz

Gonna have to disagree with you there snapplane, I've been running my Jammin with a 5.5 550 and a Novak GTB with no problems at all. I do gear on the conservative side but the motor still has plenty of power. Now I can't say what problems other people have had with 1/10 esc's but so far no problems here.

Really? Thats good. I am still going to put an RX8 in the truck to be on the safe side, I would rather not have to worry about it. That and for some reason the RX8 is cheaper, I guess because of the size.

Im not saying they wont work, but I do think you will have to be a little more careful with your gearing.

Didnt Maifield end up switching to a 550 at the Cactus Classic because his 540 burnt up, that and both of Chris Jaroz's setups on AE run a 550. Not saying that the 540s wont work, but I think for the average Joe the 550 is a safer bet.

+1 on that. I do believe you will have to pay more attention to a 540 setup compared to a 550 setup. Either way the truck will be awesome. I'm going to start my build in a couple of days.

Thanx for the input guys. I have an RX8, but its in my RC8Te and didnt wanna take it out.

I have a Tekin RS Pro and LRP 8.5 and was hoping it would work well in the SC10 4x4. Im lookin forward to some rooster tails!

Does anyone know how close the body mounting holes for this are to the 2wd SC10?
