lol, maybe that's why losis (losii?) win, they cheat and use the extra weight to bash everyone else out of the turns :)

That is my same concern, thought about chucking up the outer slipper disk into my drill and grinding down the OD a little to fit within the basket. Any thoughts on this? I really don't want to touch the basket as it needs to grip the outer flats of the slipper disk securely.

Dang! I need one of those. Vegatron, Ill post my setup later tonight.

Cool, thanks.

ANyone mess with internal shock limiting, limiting droop,?

I normally run on a med. size hi-bite track w/ a lot of direction changes.

One guy runs a durango, he said he put in some internal limiters and said it was a positive change.

I don't need a ton of suspension movement while under way, the track is real smooth, there will be jumps though.

Gonna race wed. night. Got some new rebars to replace my well-worn barcodes. I sure hope that lovin' feeling comes back.

Truck is vague and not like it used to be. I could put it anywhere I wanted, now not so much.

rs shox slipper pads

Hey guys,

I'm going to order some of the rcshox slipper pads. I already have the basket so I'll probably order a set for that. Should I order a second set while I'm at it? How long are these lasting?

BTW... nice piece of work MTK.

you won't have any problems,,, and it also may be the spur gear that's causing the offset.

1 set should do it. i'm using 2 pads w/ the stock slipper, more abuse than the basket. They still hold fine.

No more thinking the battery is dying at the end of the race. Consistent action w/ no maintenance. Just the way I like it.

Hey guys, hate to keep asking but my truck wont make it one lap without the belt twisting around and getting jammed in the front clicker, tensioners seem fine, everything looks strait on the bench but as soon as i put it on the track it happens, btw it starting doing this after i intalled a new clicker, it seems fine though

Make sure your belt tension is about equal on the front and rear adjustments. If you are at 5 on one end and 1 on the other it can cause this to happen.

rickybobbyxxx 10-31-2011 06:41 PM

Yea from what i can tell there pretty equal

Too much brake percentage? what is your belt settings? Also make sure the tension pulleys are installed correctly.

Cool, thank you for measuring! I'm ordering mine tonight!

Yea checked all that, brake is at 60% with tekin 4 pole, but it seams to do it as soon as i hit even the smallest bump, it literally wont go a full lap without the belt flipping over

60% with a Tekin 4 pole should be wayy too much brake. try 25.

A bump shouldn't effect it.

what are the belt settings?
