Practice for sure and if all goes well, racing at 6:00. Just got done with a complete tear down on the truck and got my xxx-4 back together after 8 years on the shelf so it's kind of a tune & see how it goes day.

Should be out early, I think they open @ 9... may be out at 10.

Drove a regular scte, but not the MIP... would love a couple laps behind the wheel:D
I hear it's a big improvement over stock... no, huge improvement. :tire:

I'm probably going to pick one up for outdoor, or maybe do a mugen eco conversion.

Indoor is where this truck really shines.

The Mugen MSC is so damn smooth around the track, you'd love it. Haven't driven it... yet, but a guy at my track runs one and it looks sweet.

I hope to get there at open bell. I'll be more than happy to let you wheel this thing but don't blame me when you want to convert!! We normally pit at the first table to the left as you walk through the door. I have a white Blitz body with Orange and red Monster slash stripes.

Right on, should be there hour or so after the opening bell. Won't hold you liable for me spending money on a new kit... but my wife might

Whelp, WC just hit a new low telling us that a padded slipper is better than a oil filled center diff.

Defend him now... Try it, I dare you. :p RIP "anything" WC says. :tire:

-----------
To the MIP Losi guy:

No flames man. They drive different and you are not lying about what we just will not be able to get rid of. I love my truck, but I know i'd be podium with a Losi. But i'm too far into it now. Couldn't sell this thing to even step into a Losi, and I hate the idea of driving my b44, b4.1, sc10, and RC8, then one losi? Blech. Best of luck man!

I notice quite a few of you guys are running the RX8. What settings are you running, what else have you tried and track type/conditions.

fq06 10-05-2012 10:01 PM

I run 10 push to flow through the turns better, 100 to 80 current limit depending on what my temps are doing, custom lvc at 3.6 or something close... I think they have odd values, close to that. 65 brake. No timing (4 pole). Flat throttle curve.
The rest I think is pretty much the same as the pro setup sheets.

For the most part, anywhere.

I am a firm believer in this truck now with the +8mm mod and the RCshox ball diff! I ran one of my best races ever on a track I have never been to with ZERO practice before the first heat. That ball diff is simply AMAZING!

Prostreet314 10-06-2012 01:04 AM

Anyone having issues wallowing out the idler shaft holes in their diff cases? My factory team has about 15 packs and while doing a full service I noticed the holes were oblonged, causing the idler gear to be majorly worn out.

Also, if you think your rear top shaft is bent it's just the threaded section from tightening down the slipper too much, you don't need to replace it as the rest of it still spins true. As for a different type of center drive system, I've been prototyping a few things but at this point a fluid filled diff would require a serious redesign

No issues with the idlergear since i have the truck :D There is also hardly no wearing.

BTW
Your the only only one ,kinda like me defending .

Still the VTS actually works & has real results ...

fq06 10-06-2012 10:02 AM

I think krio's point is that you have seen the C-Diff work. If being right behind phend is not fast, I don't know what is.
I don't think anyone has said vts doesn't work.
But anyway...

No one including the most trusted team driver representing that part has shown me anything...
