Thanks guys, no experience with gear diffs before.

The thicker the oil, the less the wheels will be able to spin at different rates. So lighter oil will allow for more rotation while turning at either end.

ok guys i just got an ae 4x4 what do you guys think about the tenshock 4600 kv motor on a momba monster speedo running on a 2s will this get the job done i guess gering would be the concern here i run at large 1/8th tracks here outdoor rough dusty red clay tracks

I'm running the Tenshock 4600 sensored motor, MMP and center diff. Our track is a smaller outdoor track and the CC 3800 was not enough after putting the center diff on it. It is very drivable with the 4600. I'm geared 14/60 and if you went 15/60 it should be pretty damn fast. Even at 14/60 I have an incredible amount of low end for our smaller track and tight turns. The motor is very smooth and throttle control is very good with just a little adjustment on the throttle curve.

Does the v2 center duff offer as much punch as the slipper?
